[paint splat]MessyMites encourages children to use their imagination. Hands-on creativity encourages brain development and assists with learning, from dexterity to problem solving. There is growing evidence of improvement through creative play in all areas of academic development. Art and messy play encourages children to use their minds as well as their bodies, children of all ages learn using their senses and imagination. If children are allowed to use their imagination and develop their creativity, it will be with them for life. The benefits of creativity are only just beginning to be understood, research is already showing strong links to life long learning.
